Inclusive SA

Minister's message

Welcome to South Australia's dedicated home of Inclusive SA - our state's first Disability Inclusion Plan

This dedicated website is an important hub to support our whole-of-government approach to inclusion, which is guided by the Disability Inclusion Act 2018 (SA).

As Inclusive SA continues to grow, so too will this website. Here you will find valuable resources and support for disability access and inclusion in our state government, local council and community environments.

As each state authority delivers their individual Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs), they will be centrally housed here for easy access.

South Australians living with disability and those in the service delivery sector are experiencing their largest ever reforms with the full transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Inclusive SA is a vital step in our commitment to access and inclusion planning.

The development of Inclusive SA has provided the State Government with an important opportunity to consult with members of the community with lived experience to better understand how we can foster inclusion and accessibility in innovative ways. I am grateful to the many hundreds of South Australians who contributed to the consultation process.

Inclusivity is a fundamental right for all people, and together we are committed to delivering the economic and social benefits of a more inclusive state. I look forward to continuing the team effort required to bring about meaningful change.

Welcome to Inclusive SA.
