Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs)

State government agencies and local councils create Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs) to make sure their services and programs are accessible and inclusive for people with disability.

Each DAIP aligns with the priority areas set out in the State Disability Inclusion Plan to make sure there's a consistent approach across the state.

DAIPs are living documents, which means they should be reviewed regularly to stay current. Every year, organisations must report on their progress to the Minister for Human Services.

If you're looking for support to write a DAIP, refer to the DAIP guidelines (DOCX 612.2 KB). You will find helpful advice and a template for planning and reporting.
