Accessible Beach Days are typically held in Glenelg beach, north of the jetty, during the summer.

Beach matting is laid out on the sand, providing access across to the water and free beach wheelchairs are available, subject to bookings.

Details

Semaphore Surf Lifesaving Club offers free beach access wheelchair hire during patrol hours over summer or by special arrangement.

Point Malcolm Reserve, 343 Military Road, Semaphore Park.

Patrol members will roll out the beach matting, support you to get onto the beach and be nearby if you need anything.  Bookings are essential.

The Wallaroo Holiday Park has 2 beach wheelchairs available for hire. You do not need to be staying at the park to hire a wheelchair.

There are also 4 accessible holiday cabins (2 on the beach-front).

Bookings for beach wheelchairs and holiday cabins are made through the Wallaroo Holiday Park.
